The Brains & Chief Founder of the Operation

Andrew has twenty years experience in the IT industry, having been involved in many different roles. He's been known as the 'can get it done' guy. Always striving at providing the best work environment possible for employees, maintaining a healthy relationship with clients, making sure the doors remain open for a long time to come through fiscal responsibility. He enjoys working with others who are passionate about what they do, and who work hard at it. Andrew has his pilot's license and enjoys flying, spending time with his family and golfing! You may also find him playing competitive paintball - Look out!

Robbie loves a challenge and the ability to be innovative and forward thinking.

With over 10 years’ experience in various levels of Leadership roles in the Human Resources area, Brandi has a strong passion for people. She thrives on shaping a culture of dynamism and helping people to reach their full potential. She loves to play a key role in serving as a trusted advisor on all human resource capacities, while still having fun and creating an environment of growth along the way! For those that know her, the most worn accessory is a smile and sharing a good laugh is key to having a great day when things get tough.

Bhavin is your “fix it” guy for any internal IT issues! He is excellent at troubleshooting and fixing problems. With over 9 years of experience as an Information Technology specialist with most of his career devoted to the Microsoft stack, Bhavin is an efficient learner and can benefit any business quickly by assessing needs and implementing an appropriate technology. Bhavin is an easy going guy and always willing to help out. He's also got many skills outside of the IT realm, including hockey, dancing and playing the piano.

Hive Master

A well-spoken professional project manager, Paul is both facilitator and driver: he meshes all the moving parts of our projects into cohesive units. Paul also has secondary roles: fulfilling technical duties as needed, providing design and architectural support to our project teams, and delivering technical writing and training for the customer. Acting as our Quercus change facilitator and ethical team leader, Paul loves spreadsheets, process re-engineering, caffeine, and team adventures!

Creative Technical Solutions Specialist

Paul comes from a number of years in IT, with roles ranging from Business Analyst, Programmer Analyst, and various leadership type roles - all within the domain of information technology. Most recently he’s been focused on the higher level stuff; like patterns, best practices, and other architectural areas, he also keeps abreast of what is coming down the pipe. He also dabbles in both music and photography. He’d love to set up a jam session, or maybe share some photography tips and tricks.

The Pragmatic Objectivist

Returning to Canada after spending over 20 years in Southern California, Niels has over 16 years experience in the software consulting industry. He has had the pleasure of working on projects spanning several industries from Entertainment (TV, Sports, Movies, Music) to some of the Largest Financial Institutions (Banking, Credit Cards, Insurance). Niels loves technology and especially the emerging mobile platform. When he is not working on interesting projects at work, Niels is actively involved in Open Source projects or playing hockey.

Richard, our resident Irishman, graduated with a BSc in 1995, giving him 16 years’ experience in the IT sector. He worked with Unix systems in his early career, Ingres DBMS running on Solaris. Now he is working primarily with Microsoft technologies - ASP 2.0 all the way up to .Net 4.0 - and his main area of expertise is SharePoint. A self-taught professional, Richard is always looking to learn something new. He's never one to turn down a quick game of Half Life 2, and is still looking for some decent competition.

Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Multimedia and Communication Studies from McMaster University. She is passionate about creating compelling and intuitive user experience through clean, eye-pleasing design. She has an eye for aesthetics and strives to produce work that is both visually appealing and easy and pleasurable to interact with. With a focus on user interfaces, graphics, colours, fonts and navigability, Emily is able to deliver effective and positive experiences for users.

Rob has worked for 10 years in software development. He has the technical and organizational expertise required to complete complex projects on schedule and within the proposed budget. Rob is capable of quickly establishing a rapport with clients & his team and ensuring that client communications are timely and effective. He has experience in all stages of software development including proposal writing, requirement definition, design, implementation, testing and project management. He plays tennis, squash, volleyball and golf and is one of the best office ping pong players.

Jake is the consummate jokester & full of information on all things. He's always looking to solve an IT-related solution! Jake's your guy for upgrading and installing the newest and coolest of technology! He is highly competitive, loves a challenge or good debate & always has a story to tell. He belongs to a slow pitch team, plays volleyball in the winter and loves to watch hockey. He snowboards and skis and you can usually find him with some sort of injury each winter because of this.
